Elon Musk’s SpaceXAI to Build a Company From Scratch Using Grok Bot Live

SpaceXAI is set to livestream an unusual artificial intelligence experiment from September 15 to 17, with three team members attempting to build a company from scratch using Grok Bot across the entire process.

The three day event, called Grok Bot Galaxy, will show Matt Palmer, Lauren Tan and Roshan Sadanani starting with an idea and a blank slate before developing a business plan, making product decisions and carrying out real engineering work. The team will document the process in real time to demonstrate how AI agents can support different stages of building a company.

The event highlights SpaceXAI’s broader push to position Grok Bot as more than a conventional AI chatbot. The company describes Grok Bot as a team of AI agents that can work across apps, tools and websites, allowing users to delegate tasks and run workflows in parallel.

SpaceXAI Plans Three-Day AI Company-Building Experiment

During the September 15th – 17th livestream, the SpaceXAI team will move from ideation to product development and engineering while using Grok Bot throughout the process. The experiment is designed to give viewers a real time look at how AI agents can contribute to business creation rather than simply generating isolated pieces of content or code.

The first day will focus heavily on the early stages of company creation and technical development. Sessions include Grok Bot 101, engineering, product management and founders, giving viewers a look at how AI can support roles involved in turning an initial concept into a working product.

The second day will shift toward commercial operations, with sessions covering sales engineering, sales, sales development representatives and customer support. The third day will focus on marketing operations, post sales and marketing before ending with a final showcase of the work produced during the experiment.

Grok Bot Will Handle More Than Coding

The experiment is significant because SpaceXAI intends to demonstrate Grok Bot across the full business workflow rather than limiting the AI agent to software development. The schedule covers engineering, product management, sales, customer support, marketing and other functions, showing how AI agents could potentially operate as digital teammates across departments.

SpaceXAI launched Grok Bot in August as a system of AI teammates capable of working through a dedicated cloud computer. The company says its agents can interact with tools, applications, inboxes and websites, complete multi step jobs and return when human approval or judgment is required.

The company has also demonstrated Grok Bot in internal workflows, including sales outreach, marketing operations, finance, product development and engineering. SpaceXAI recently said one procurement focused Bot identified more than $100,000 in potential direct savings after analyzing vendor spending, contracts and usage data.

Grok Bot Galaxy Targets the Future of AI Work

The September livestream comes shortly after SpaceXAI detailed how a small team built Grok Bot from scratch in about one month before taking the product public several weeks later. Roman Ugarte, who leads product for Grok Bot, recently discussed the development process and the company’s focus on creating AI agents that function more like digital colleagues than traditional chatbots.

Grok Bot Galaxy will therefore serve as both a product demonstration and a practical test of AI assisted entrepreneurship. Viewers will be able to watch the team make business and product decisions, write software, develop workflows and address operational needs while the AI agents participate throughout the process.

The livestream is scheduled to run across September 15, 16 and 17, with daily programming beginning at around 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time and running through the afternoon. SpaceXAI is also hosting the event in person at The Howard in San Francisco while offering a virtual livestream for viewers elsewhere.

If the experiment succeeds, it could offer a practical demonstration of how AI agents may change the process of launching startups, reducing the amount of repetitive work founders and small teams traditionally handle themselves. More importantly, it will put SpaceXAI’s vision of AI powered digital coworkers to the test in front of a live audience.
